Zorte: “There’s no point in eating feces if you don’t have to eat feces”

BetBoom Team player Alexander "zorte" Zagodyrenko commented on the team’s decision to withdraw from the Skyesports Championship 2024 for Counter-Strike 2. The esports athlete shared his thoughts on his personal Telegram channel.

"People are simply not prepared to host such tournaments. Why put up with crap when you don’t have to?"

BetBoom Team announced their withdrawal from the tournament on 23rd July. The club's representatives noted that the conditions at the event venue did not match the organisers' promises. Before this, representatives from other teams at Skyesports Championship 2024 had complained about equipment issues, poor furniture, and other problems.

The Skyesports Championship 2024 is taking place from 23rd to 28th July. Matches were initially scheduled to start on 23rd July, but due to technical issues after the first match, the tournament was postponed by a day. The prize pool for the competition is $300,000.
