Zont1x: "It's easier for us to play against strong teams"

Team Spirit player Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia shared his thoughts on his team's current form and their performance in the ongoing season of the ESL Pro League in Malta. The Ukrainian esports player spoke about these matters in an interview with HLTV.org.

"We’re not in the best shape, but I think it’s easier for us to play against strong teams because we’re used to outsmarting our opponents. When playing against teams outside the top 10, it’s not as simple because you don’t fully understand how they think—it’s a completely different kind of Counter-Strike. That’s the main issue.

As I mentioned in another interview, we need to play more to play better, as we tend to perform at our best in championships and tournaments where we have to play a lot of matches. On Friday, we’re playing against NAVI, which is a comfortable opponent for us, and we enjoy playing against the best teams. I think it comes more naturally to us. We’ll see how things go."

Team Spirit secured a 2-0 victory over Imperial in their match to reach the top eight at ESL Pro League Season 20. The team advanced to the next round of the playoffs, where they will face NAVI. Before this, Team Spirit also claimed a win against FURIA.
