Woxic: "It's like we came to war"

In an interview with Cybersport.ru, Özgür "woxic" Eker from Eternal Fire commented on his team's victory over MOUZ in the match for a spot in the grand final of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

"The last time we played against MOUZ on Nuke, they completely demolished us. They simply destroyed us, but we learned from our mistakes and didn't approach this match the same way we did last time. Individually, everyone, including myself, played excellently this time – we had strong shooting and so on. Last time, we were lacking that. It may have also helped that we won the first map and thus felt more confident."

The Turkish esports player also shared his expectations for the upcoming match against Team Spirit for the title of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 champion.

"If we play tomorrow like we did today, the match against Team Spirit will likely end 3:2 in someone's favour. But if we fail to show our strength, it will be difficult. Overall, I believe it will be a tense match, and I hope we can give it our all and win, even if things don’t go perfectly. It’s like we’re going to war, you know? That’s the mindset we need to have for the match against Team Spirit, because they are one of the best teams in the world, just like MOUZ. You can't show them any disrespect. We are ready for it."
