Woro2k to Play for HEROIC at IEM Cologne 2024

Vladimir "Woro2k" Veletnyuk has been officially announced as a stand-in for HEROIC at the upcoming IEM Cologne 2024 championship. This information comes from the Sheep Esports portal, citing its sources.

The Ukrainian esports player will temporarily fill the role of sniper for the team, replacing Abdul "degster" Gasanov, who was unable to obtain the necessary visa in time for the tournament.

Woro2k's most recent team was Monte, where he played for two years from July 2022 to July 2024. Before that, Veletnyuk was a player for MAD Lions.

IEM Cologne 2024 will take place from the 7th to the 18th of August in Cologne, Germany, featuring 24 teams. The total prize pool for the event is $1 million. Recently, the organisers released the brackets for the first and second stages of the championship.
