WOOD7: "There is no clear favorite in Brazil"
The captain of ODDIK, Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato, has commented on the level of competition in the Brazilian professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. In his view, there is currently no clear favourite in the region. The esports player shared his thoughts in an interview with Dust2 Brasil.
"Right now, we have very strong teams in Brazil, and everyone is beating everyone. We’re seeing MIBR return to Brazil and lose to Sharks, Sharks defeating paiN, and we are winning against Imperial. This is part of the game. Teams are at a level where they are constantly taking maps from each other, and there’s no obvious favourite. We will lose some matches, of course; it’s not what we want, but we’ll keep improving and getting stronger."
Recently, ODDIK competed in a local LAN tournament, the CBCS Invitational 2024, held from 26 to 27 October in São Paulo, Brazil. In the final, the team suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat to Sharks.
