CS2 streamer and content creator dona, who is in a relationship with Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, got into a dispute with caster Mohan "launders" Govindasamy. The argument stemmed from launders' criticism of the G2 Esports player. On Twitter, he claimed that nexa had an underwhelming performance at IEM Dallas 2024.
Launders: "Nexa made G2's tournament run as difficult as possible. He not only had poor stats but also a low impact in the game, unlike Stewie2k, who only had bad stats. This was an especially bad tournament for nexa; he usually performs better."
Dona: "No worries, it's just that your understanding of CS isn't deep enough to grasp what's happening on the server and how each player contributes to the victory, even if they had a bad tournament. See you in London :)"
Launders: "No offense, but what the hell do you know about CS?"
Dona: "More than you, 100%. Keep building your image as a nasty hater."
Later, launders stated that he thinks nexa is a great guy but always expresses his honest opinion. In response, dona noted that the caster often focuses on negative aspects of the game and has targeted Isaković before. After dona's comments, launders reiterated her respect for nexa but mentioned that he believes jks, who was previously replaced by Isaković, performed better in that role. Dona pointed out that the players had different roles on the team.
IEM Dallas 2024 took place from May 27 to June 2 in Dallas, USA. Sixteen teams competed for a prize pool of $250,000. G2 emerged as the champion, defeating Team Vitality with a score of 2-1. Nexa finished the tournament with an individual rating of 0.85—the lowest on the team.
