Vitality tops HLTV's global team rankings

The Vitality roster has claimed the number one position in the latest HLTV world rankings. The team, led by Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, has surpassed NAVI, who had held the top spot since late August.

The gap between first and second place is currently just 10 points. Vitality and NAVI are essentially defining the strongest teams of the current ESL Pro League season, as both teams secured first place in their respective groups and advanced directly to the quarter-finals of the play-offs.

No other changes have occurred within the top ten over the past week. In the top 30, the teams showing the most progress include Complexity, BIG, M80, and Imperial, all of whom completed the group stage of the Pro League.

The HLTV ranking is updated weekly, primarily reflecting results from the past two months. It also considers achievements over the past year, with points for past successes diminishing month by month.
