Vilga's courageous Cheetahs disband

The former captain of Nigma Galaxy expressed that things "didn't go as planned". After just two months together, Fearless Cheetahs have decided to disband, a choice made shortly after the online stage of ESL Impact League Season 5 Europe concluded. Formed in February following Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova's departure from Nigma Galaxy (now Pigeons), the Russian in-game leader joined forces with the core of the former 9 Pandas Fearless roster for Impact League Season 5.

Although Fearless Cheetahs performed admirably in the online Europe group stage, boasting a 4-1 record in Group B, they narrowly missed direct qualification for the Season 5 Finals in Dallas due to losing a crucial head-to-head match against NAVI Javelins, who also finished Group B with a 4-1 record.

Unfortunately, vilga's team fell short against BIG EQUIPA, failing to secure a spot in the offline finals altogether. This marks the first time the former captain of the two-time women's team of the year won't be competing at an Impact League Finals since the circuit's inception. Adding insult to injury, the team lost the fifth-place decider match to GUILD fe, which is played if a replacement team is required.

Expressing her sentiments, vilga mentioned, "Unfortunately it didn’t work out with Fearless Cheetahs the way we wanted, so we decided to part ways." She added, "I’m still eager to compete, I’m a hardworking person, and I think I can bring a lot to any team, so if you are interested, you can contact me. Meanwhile, I am going to take some time off to evaluate my plans and options."

Fearless Cheetahs roster included:
- Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova (Russia)
- Anastasia "kr4sy" Khlobystina (Russia)
- Victoria "Victoria" Ukasova (Russia)
- Tanya "t4tty" Vorontsova (Russia)
- Ksenia "Ksu" Volkova (Russia)
