Valve's CS2 team rankings have been updated

Valve has updated the global rankings of the top CS2 teams, with G2 Esports taking the number one spot.

Natus Vincere placed second, followed by Team Spirit in third. The ranking is determined based on factors such as the number of opponents defeated, adjusted for their standing in the top rankings, prize money won at premier tournaments, and the results of head-to-head matchups between teams.

Valve’s ranking differs from that compiled by HLTV.org. According to the latter, Natus Vincere still hold the top position, while G2 Esports are ranked second. The HLTV.org ranking, which remains the most popular and influential within the community, is traditionally updated on Mondays.

Previously, G2 Esports secured first place in Group B at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, while Natus Vincere exited the tournament without winning a single match.
