Team Liquid player Russell "Twistzz" Van Dalken made a statement following their victory over ENCE in Group D at ESL Pro League Season 20 for Dota 2. The esports athlete's message was posted on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
"We kicked off our group stage with a 2-0 win over ENCE. We managed to pull through in the end
We’ll train for a day, and then it's back to action on Thursday."
The match between Liquid and ENCE took place on the evening of September 10. Van Dalken's team won 2-0 and advanced to the second round of the winners' bracket in Group D, while ENCE dropped to the lower bracket.
ESL Pro League Season 20 runs from September 3 to 22 in Malta, with 32 teams competing for a prize pool of $750,000.
