MOUZ sniper Adam "torzsi" Torzhash commented on his team's victory over Team Spirit in the final of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 championship. In an interview with Cybersport.ru, the esports athlete noted that the opponent lacked experience.
"Yeah, yesterday I said it's unlikely to end 3:0, but as it turned out, we just crushed them. I feel like we're in great shape right now, coming from the previous tournament we won, and then winning here. So the mood is just great, we carry it from one match to another. Everyone is having fun, you know? Team Spirit probably lacked a bit of experience because they haven't played so many official matches for a long time. That's why they couldn't fully showcase themselves."
The Hungarian also pondered whether MOUZ currently deserves the title of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 team. torzsi revealed the goal he and his teammates set for themselves this season.
"I would say yes, but there are still a few challenges we'll have to face. It would be great to see MOUZ at the top of HLTV.org, just wonderful. But it might look realistic, especially considering how we got here. I think there are still some challenges. For example, beating FaZe on the big stage or winning a major LAN tournament with spectators would be incredible. And our goal is to do it this season. For example, in Dallas. But it would still be cool to see us at the top of the global team rankings."
