MOUZ's sniper, Adam "torzsi" Torzhas, stated that the BetBoom Team didn't catch his team off guard by picking Dust2 in yesterday's match during the group stage of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. The esports player also described this map as convenient for snipers. Torzhas shared this in a comment to eScoreNews.
"We were prepared for this. We figured the BetBoom Team had no other choice. I think opponents expected that we hadn't prepared this map, but we practiced it on our off days at EPL.
Honestly, I'm glad BB Team chose Dust 2 and we were the first on it. It was great to play on this map again. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but it's suitable for snipers. Still, it was great to play on it and gain confidence.
[Dust 2 is good for snipers?] 100%. There are many angles, and now you can dispel smoke with a grenade for unexpected picks. Undoubtedly, it's a good map for snipers."
MOUZ won their debut match in the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 – yesterday, the team defeated BetBoom Team in the group stage. On May 16, the team will face Virtus.pro in a match for a spot in the championship playoffs.
