Thorin on the "cancellation" of the ex-boss of G2

In a recent statement, analyst Thorin addressed the controversy surrounding Carlos "Ocelote" Rodríguez Santiago, the former G2 Esports boss. 

"Industry insiders have said that Carlos has tainted himself with his associations, yet these same people work with Saudis and are often professionally connected with Koreans and Chinese, who hold far stricter beliefs than those he ever expressed on Twitter," wrote Thorin.

In 2022, Carlos "Ocelote" Rodríguez faced backlash due to his friendship with blogger Andrew Tate, who had been repeatedly accused of misogyny. This controversy ultimately led to his departure from the position of director at G2 Esports.
