Thorin compared the eSports industry to the bosses from Elden Ring

British Counter-Strike 2 analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields recently made a playful jab at employees in the esports industry. The content creator likened their behaviour to inexperienced gamers attempting to conquer DLC bosses in Elden Ring. Shields shared his thoughts on his page on X.

"It seems like a significant portion of the esports industry has truly struggled with trying to defeat bosses from the Elden Ring DLC because when they encounter someone malevolent and more powerful than themselves, their first move is to try to work for or with them..."

Earlier, Shields discussed the performance of Team Spirit's sniper Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov. The content creator highlighted sh1ro's excellent showing at the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024. "The sacrifice sh1ro made by joining Spirit is losing the title of strongest player at tournaments even when winning trophies," noted Thorin.
