British Counter-Strike 2 analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields responded with irony to the departure of Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen from G2 Esports, posing a pointed question to the athlete's defenders. Shields' post was published on social network X.

"Are all those players and coaches who defended HooXi ready to invite him to their teams, and are the experts who said he shouldn't be kicked out of G2 willing to suggest him as a captain for any other world-class team?"

Nielsen's departure from G2 was announced on July 1. Representatives of the organisation stated that they would assist HooXi in finding a new team, while he remains inactive in the meantime.
