Thorin about the community after Team Spirit's elimination from IEM Cologne 2024

CS2 analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields reacted to Team Spirit's exit from IEM Cologne 2024. He posted on his X page, defending the Eastern European team.

"I have never seen such a flip-flop in CS as now. People have completely forgotten everything that happened before the official summer break from tournaments.

Less than two months ago, Spirit won a LAN featuring the best teams in the world, and a month of that time was a tournament break."

On the evening of August 11th, Spirit faced G2 Esports in the lower bracket of Group A at IEM Cologne 2024. Following the match, Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov's team fell short and exited the tournament, while G2 progressed to the next round.

IEM Cologne 2024 runs from 7th to 18th August in Germany. The tournament features 24 teams competing for a prize pool of $1 million, as well as slots for IEM Katowice 2025 and the BLAST Premier: World Final.
