"There was a feeling of complete stagnation and discomfort," r3salt

Newly signed 9 Pandas player, Yevgeny "r3salt" Frolov, explained his decision to leave his previous team. According to the Russian esports player, he felt that he was not developing as a player during his time with Aurora. He also stressed that he did not take any actions behind the back of the organisation or his former teammates.

"There was a sense of complete stagnation and discomfort. I didn’t feel like I was growing in this team. I informed the management about all the difficulties and tried to resolve things on my own, but to no avail. When 9 Pandas became aware of my situation, they reached out to Aurora and let them know that their player wanted to leave. Aurora said they would handle the situation, and we continued working together. Two or three months went by, and nothing changed. So I asked the management once again to put me on the transfer list. They agreed, and from there, the organisations handled the negotiations between themselves."

He dismissed any claims that he left without notifying anyone. "It's a lie that I left without saying anything to anyone. I didn’t do anything behind the organisation’s back. I was open with the management from the start, told them that I was unhappy, and they promised to resolve the situation, but nothing changed. Later on, in a personal chat with Shalfey, I shared how I was feeling. I also tried to improve the atmosphere in the team and find common ground with the guys."

"Believe me, I am sacrificing a lot by moving to 9 Pandas, but I believe it's the right choice for my career. I'm thinking about my future, not just living for the day. Some people are even saying that I have friends there and that I was paid millions, but how wrong you all are. Don’t make assumptions or invent stories, and maybe then people won’t think you’re a fool."

A few days ago, Aurora and 9 Pandas traded players: Timur "clax" Sabirov moved to Aurora, while Yevgeny "r3salt" Frolov joined 9 Pandas. The 9 Pandas roster will compete in the closed qualifier for the European RMR tournament, while Aurora received a direct invite to the RMR.
