"The worst thing that can happen to a player." Zoner, r3salt and liTTle spoke about the situation with ICY

Several members of the Russian-speaking Counter-Strike 2 community have shared their thoughts on Kaysar "ICY" Faiznurov's situation, following AMKAL's decision to bench him and "initiate an investigation into potential misconduct."

Streamer, caster, and FORZE academy coach Aleksandr "zoner" Bogatyrev suggested that the conflict might have stemmed from the player's unprofessional behaviour.

"There are probably many reasons for this. I think we will soon learn the exact details from AMKAL. It could be that ICY had a strong desire to join Cloud9, but the management or his contract prevented him from doing so. I believe ICY started slacking off on certain things and behaving incompetently with the team or management, and now we see the result: the 'bench.' It's the worst thing that can happen to a player. If the contract is well-structured, it becomes a very powerful weapon against the player. If he's benched, he might not move to Cloud9 and could sit on the bench until the contract ends, losing his market value. A contract must be respected."

Aurora team member Yevgeny "r3salt" Frolov called AMKAL's decision fair. He added that ICY would perform well in Cloud9 if the transfer rumours were true.

"It's harsh. It's unclear what will happen, but I feel sorry for ICY, although it's fair. I think C9 might take him, but I don't know what's happening internally. If they do, he'll perform well as a good sniper for Cloud9."

Coach Anatoly "liTTle" Yashin also believes that Faiznurov would fit well in the new Cloud9 roster, as the American club has no other options.

"At the moment, ICY is a very strong and good player. Currently, he's the best option for Cloud9, as there are no others. It's unclear if they'll release him; I don't know the contract conditions."

Earlier, insiders Vladislav "harumi" Radvilovich and Aleksei "OverDrive" Biryukov suggested that the alleged secret trials with Cloud9 might have led to Kaysar "ICY" Faiznurov being benched from AMKAL's active roster. Cloud9 manager Aleksandr "sweetypotz" Shcherbakov denied these rumours.
