Falcons team captain, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, named the top contender for the title of the best player of 2024. According to Pfeiffer, the primary candidate is Team Spirit's player, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. Snappi shared his opinion in an interview with Cybersport.ru.

"The main candidate is donk, with ZywOo in second place.

Donk is an incredibly talented player. Moreover, he's a rifler, and that's impressive. So yes, the first candidate is donk, then ZywOo, followed by m0NESY. That's how the top 3 will look in 2024. Yes, ZywOo might surpass donk, but they will occupy the top spots."

Snappi also listed the best captains in Counter-Strike history, according to him, three esports players made the list.

"I think Zeus should be on this list because he played both CS 1.6 and CS:GO. Next, I would mention gla1ve and probably karrigan. They both are very good. Moreover, gla1ve seems to have been a captain even in the twilight of CS: Source, and while karrigan may not have played this role in CS 1.6, he proved in CS:GO that he deserves to be in the top three. So karrigan, Zeus, and gla1ve — that's my top 3 strongest captains in CS history. Among other things, they were very lucky with their teammates. This is a crucial part of success for a captain, and they achieved a lot."
