The ex-Apeks coach has become a free agent - according to rumours, he will move to Liquid

The Norwegian organisation Apeks has officially announced the end of its collaboration with their Counter-Strike 2 coach, Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg. The announcement was made on the club's page on the social network X.

MithR had been with Apeks for two years and eight months. Rumours suggest that the Dane will soon join Liquid, along with Justin "jks" Savage and Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak.

It is worth noting that at the end of May this year, the Norwegian multi-gaming organisation exited the professional Counter-Strike 2 scenes due to financial difficulties. All players and the coach were placed on the transfer list.

In the current season, Apeks finished in 13th-16th place at IEM Katowice 2024, 20th-22nd place at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, and 3rd-4th place at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024.
