HLTV has released a list of esports players awarded the title of Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVP) following the recent IEM Cologne 2024 championship in Cologne.
The EVP title was given to players who delivered outstanding performances during the tournament but were not recognised as MVPs. Among those honoured were G2, NAVI, Vitality, and SAW players. The complete list of these esports players is as follows:
- Mihai "iM" Ivan (NAVI)
- Shahar "flameZ" Shushan (Vitality)
- Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi (NAVI)
- Lotan "Spinx" Giladi (Vitality)
- Ilia "m0NESY" Osipov (G2)
- Justinas "jL" Lekavicius (NAVI)
- Michel "ewjerkz" Pinto (SAW)
HLTV also revealed the symbolic team of the best players from IEM Cologne 2024 in each role, including three representatives from Vitality and two players from NAVI.
IEM Cologne 2024 took place from 7th to 18th August in Cologne, Germany, featuring 24 teams. The total prize pool for the event was one million US dollars. In the final, Vitality defeated NAVI. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
