Team Spirit and Virtus.pro made it to the top 8 of the Esports World Cup 2024

The first day of the Esports World Cup 2024 has concluded, with Team Spirit and Virtus.pro securing their places among the top eight teams in the championship.

The "Dragons" triumphed over MIBR in the first stage of the tournament (13:4 on Nuke, 13:3 on Vertigo), while the "Bears" defeated Complexity (13:9 on Anubis, 13:4 on Dust2). The losing teams moved to the Play-In stage, while the winners advanced directly to the playoffs.

On 18 July, the Play-In participants will compete in a Single Elimination BO1 format to determine the final slot in the playoffs.
