G2 Esports coach Viktor "TaZ" Wojtas commented on the victory over FaZe Clan at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024. The Polish coach shared his thoughts on his X page.
"One more game needed to qualify for BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024… GG, FaZe Clan.
On the first map, we didn't fully stick to our game plan, and we were heavily punished for it. I'm glad about our resilience. Time to train harder."
The match between G2 Esports and FaZe Clan took place on 1 August. The game ended with a 2:1 victory for Wojtas's team. As a result, G2 advanced to the decisive round of the group, while FaZe fell to the lower bracket.
BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 runs from 29 July to 4 August in Copenhagen, Denmark. The 16 teams are competing for a prize pool of $190,000 and spots in the upcoming tournaments in the series.
