Stewie2K will give G2 managers a portion of their prize money from IEM Dallas 2024

American esports player Jake "Stewie2K" Yip will donate part of his prize money, earned at the Dallas championship, to the managers of Team G2. He mentioned that the amount would be five thousand dollars. The player shared this news with his audience during a live stream on Twitch.

"We were talking about the tournament and discussing the prize money. I asked the guys how G2 splits their winnings because there are also TaZ and the managers. The managers don't get much.

The manager mentioned the percentage he was supposed to get. I said, 'Okay, since I'm getting this much, I'll set aside $5,000 from my share, and you two can split it between yourselves.'

Of course, he was modest about it and said it wasn't necessary and all that. But I wanted to do it. It's not about the prize money, it's about the experience. I had a great time."

It should be noted that Stewie2K played as a stand-in for G2 at IEM Dallas 2024 in the USA. The team ended up winning first place in the championship and earned $100,000 (along with a spot at IEM Cologne 2024). In the tournament final, G2 defeated Vitality with a score of 2-1.
