Following the release of Valve's updated CS2 team rankings, the teams invited to the RMR tournaments before the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 have been announced, along with the participants in the closed qualifiers for these championships.
European Teams:
Sixteen European teams have received RMR invitations and will be divided into two tournaments. These teams include:
- Team Spirit
- Natus Vincere
- Virtus.pro
- BetBoom Team
- Aurora Gaming
Additionally, 32 teams that rank lower will compete in the closed qualifiers.
American Teams:
In the American region, the teams invited to the RMR are:
- Team Liquid
- FURIA Esports
- Complexity Gaming
- 9z Team
- paiN Gaming
- MIBR
- M80
- Imperial Esports
The remaining eight participants will be determined through qualifiers in North and South America.
Asian Teams:
In Asia, the RMR invites have gone to:
- The Mongolz
- FlyQuest
- Lynn Vision Gaming
This tournament will feature eight teams in total, with the remaining five slots going to the winners of qualifiers from various Asian regions.
The RMR tournaments for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will take place from 11 to 24 November. The Major itself will be held from 30 November to 15 December in China, where 24 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million.
