Snappi on Falcons: “Sooner or later, there will be changes”

The captain of Team Falcons, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, shared his thoughts on the current form of his teammate, Álvaro "SunPayus" García. In an interview with bo3.gg, the Danish esports player noted that SunPayus has lost confidence in himself. However, Snappi is confident that the Spaniard will overcome his issues.

"I think it’s just a matter of him finding his place in the new team. He performs well in practice, so I believe that, with time, everything will fall into place. He just needs to believe in himself because, when you go through a rough patch, you start doubting your decisions. He shouldn’t do that because he’s an amazing player, and he needs to trust himself.

Right now, he’s just lacking confidence. Almost every player goes through this at some point in their career, and for the first time since I’ve been playing with him, he’s facing these problems, but I’m sure he’ll get through it."

Snappi also mentioned that changes could be made within the team if they don’t start showing results. Pfeiffer is convinced that they will achieve success sooner or later.

"This project [the Falcons CS2 roster] was built to win, and the ambition is to achieve victories. So, if we don’t improve our results, changes will eventually happen. I think this is fair for any team: when you invest a lot of money in a team, you expect results, and if those results aren’t there, any organisation aiming for success will consider making changes.

I think they’re doing the right thing by giving zonic a lot of freedom in what he wants to do with the team and in what direction he wants to lead it, so I believe in this project and am confident that we will succeed."

Falcons began their run at IEM Cologne 2024 with a loss to Eternal Fire. The team fell to the lower bracket of the Play-In stage, where they secured a victory against ALTERNATE aTTaX. To advance to the group stage of the championship, the team must defeat BIG today.
