GamerLegion has officially announced the acquisition of Hungarian AWPer, Henrich "sl3nd" Hevesi, completing his transfer from Endpoint. This move doesn't come as a surprise, given that sl3nd has been actively playing with GamerLegion since the start of April, following Endpoint's revelation that he had been sold to another team.
With this formal announcement, sl3nd now takes the place of Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand on the roster, concluding Dane's one-and-a-half-year tenure with the team. During acoR's time with GamerLegion, he participated in three consecutive Majors, reaching the grand final in Paris last year.
sl3nd's performance with GamerLegion has been decent, with a 1.10 rating over 14 maps on HLTV. However, the team faced mixed results in various qualifiers, failing to progress in the Thunderpick World Championship, ESL Challenger Jönköping, and Esports World Cup.
Currently, GamerLegion's lineup consists of players from Sweden, Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Estonia, with Ashley "Ash" Battye from the United Kingdom serving as the coach:
- Isak "isak" Fahlén (Sweden)
- Sebastian "volt" Maloș (Romania)
- Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski (Poland)
- Henrich "sl3nd" Hevesi (Hungary)
- Andreas "aNdu" Maasing (Estonia)
- Ashley "ash" Battye (coach)
