S1mple: "We train every day, the big news is coming"

Renowned Ukrainian esports player Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev may have hinted at a return to the professional Counter-Strike scene. It's important to note that he has been inactive for quite some time. On his Telegram channel, Kostylev urged fans to anticipate "big news," although he clarified that he will not participate in the upcoming Major.

"We're training every day, and big news is coming. Regarding the team: don't even think about it, we're waiting for the Major to finish. As much as I’d love to fly to Shanghai and compete, it's just too complicated."

According to unofficial reports, s1mple could soon become a player for Falcons in Counter-Strike 2, as recently mentioned by journalist Richard Lewis citing his sources.

It’s worth recalling that s1mple has been benched by NAVI since October 2023. In March this year, he played for Falcons on loan during the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, where the team lost their opening match and finished in last place at the tournament.
