Rumours: Team Spirit will pay Cloud9 bonuses for transferring sh1ro

According to unofficial reports, the American esports club Cloud9 might receive additional payments from Team Spirit for the sale of sniper Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov. This information comes from the Metaratings portal, which cites its sources.

Media reports suggest that the total transfer fee for the Russian esports player could exceed $2 million, including bonuses for sh1ro's successful performance under the Team Spirit banner.

It should be noted that Sokolov officially joined Team Spirit’s roster in December of last year. Insider Vladislav "harumi" Radvilovich claims that the transfer fee, excluding bonuses, was $1.75 million.

Following their victory at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, Team Spirit rose to the top spot in the HLTV world rankings for Counter-Strike 2. The "Dragons" also secured the number one position in Valve’s official ranking. Sh1ro’s average rating over the past three months has been 1.21.
