Richard Lewis: "Br0 allegedly too ill to play"

Former Astralis player Alexander "br0" Bro is currently undergoing trials with ENCE, despite the Danish club's claims that the esports athlete is unwell and unable to compete in the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024. This information was shared by insider Richard Lewis on social media.

Lewis stated, "By the way, I typically don’t talk about transfer matters much, but why not discuss them now, given the circumstances? I have credible information that br0 is currently being trialled by ENCE. So, Astralis claims that br0 is allegedly too sick to play, yet his condition seems sufficient for him to be trialling with another team. What a club."

Previously, BLAST allowed Astralis to compete in the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 with an updated roster, replacing br0 with Casper "cadiaN" Møller after the roster lock. The Danish organization stated that br0 could not participate in the tournament due to health issues, although his agent had reported shortly before these developments that the player was in perfect health.

This decision by BLAST did not sit well with other participants in the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, leading the captains of most teams to boycott the media day for the tournament. As a result, the organizers imposed penalty points on the players. They later attempted to clarify the situation, stating that Astralis would forfeit part of their prize money due to the roster change.
