Renowned North American Esports Players Receive Invite to CCT Season 2 North America Series 1

Renowned North American esports players Braxton "swag" Pierce, Joshua "steel" Nissan, and Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham have received an invitation to the online tournament CCT Season 2 North America Series 1 for Counter-Strike 2.

Joining this newly formed mix are Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Marco "Pol0" Hernandez. The team will compete in the championship under the tag Vibe.

It’s worth noting that n0thing and Skadoodle have not been active in the professional CS scene for a while, just like swag and steel, who were banned by Valve nearly 10 years ago for their involvement in match-fixing while playing for iBUYPOWER. Skadoodle was the only one who escaped punishment at that time. Early next year, the developers of Counter-Strike 2 will allow the American and Canadian players to compete in official tournaments again.

Their first match in CCT Season 2 North America Series 1 will be on June 4th against Zomblers. The event runs from June 3rd to 16th, featuring 24 teams competing for a $25,000 prize pool.
