The Brazilian esports club RED Canids has announced changes to their Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organisation has benched and listed Wesley "hardzao" Lopes for transfer.
Lopes has been with RED Canids since October of last year, previously playing for Paquetá and paiN. His average player rating in CS2 is 1.11.
RED Canids has yet to announce who will fill the vacant spot in the roster. A few weeks ago, the club also parted ways with coach João "righi" Righi and has not yet found a replacement.
The team finished in the top 6 at the FiReLEAGUE 2024 Global Finals in Argentina. Recently, the team lost in the South American qualifier for IEM Rio 2024.
RED Canids' next match is scheduled for July 31, where Marcelo "coldzera" David's squad will face Intense in the CCT Season 2 South America Series 2. The following day, the team will play against Solid in the ESL Challenger League Season 48 South America.
