Rare Atom qualified for IEM Rio 2024

Yulun "Summer" Cai's team emerged victorious in the closed Asian qualifiers for the IEM Rio 2024 Autumn Championship in Counter-Strike 2.

In the final match of the qualifiers, Rare Atom defeated TYLOO with a score of 2:1. The competition also featured ATOX and CatEvil, who secured third and fourth places, respectively.

Three additional slots for IEM Rio 2024 will be decided through regional qualifiers: two in Europe (from 26 to 28 August) and one in North America (from 31 August to 1 September). Previously, paiN also qualified for the tournament.

IEM Rio 2024 will take place from 7 to 13 October 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, featuring 16 teams. Participants will compete for a prize pool of $250,000. The winner will earn a spot at IEM Katowice 2025.
