RachelR: "A pathetic ghoul caught red-handed on threes gets unbanned"
Popular Russian blogger and founder of the esports organisation Insilio, Oleg "RachelR" Tyurkaev, shared his thoughts on the Joel "joel" Holmund ban situation on his personal Telegram channel. Tyurkaev reflected on his experiences playing against cheaters, criticised ESIC, and assessed the number of dishonest players in the professional CS scene.

“A pathetic scumbag caught red-handed with cheats gets unbanned, continues to cheat for almost a year, plays with hacks, receives invites, and then gets banned again by the GREATEST ANTI-CHEAT IN HISTORY, AKROS.
Just to give you an idea, 'Taxi Driver' aka propleh, back in 2022, played against our team with a new account with 5 hours of playtime at some 'Russian Championship' because his main account, for some reason, wasn't recognised by the anti-cheat. We lost 16-13 or something like that.
Later, Akros anti-cheat also banned 4 people in a match against us, including the same 'taxi driver'. Poor Diamond stayed alone on the server and was astonished by the mix he agreed to play in (I don’t remember the nicknames, but maybe you do).
And I’m sure there are many such 'active businessmen' on the low-tier scene. ESIC is a pointless organisation, a relic of esports that exists for no clear reason. I eagerly await the day when I wake up to see 100+ bans and a frensied attempt to justify them. Seriously, throughout the time I’ve followed low-tier CS through INSILIO, the only positive moments when ‘dishonest players’ were caught were on FASTCUP or on tournaments where AKROS anti-cheat was used. If only there were a consolidation of all anti-cheat databases into one MEGA_ANTI_322_DUPLO to just wipe out 20% of the community.
Bless AKROS anti-cheat!”
Earlier, BetBoom Team captain Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov also shared his opinion on Telegram regarding the issue. The Russian esports player reflected on the broader problem of cheating in the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene.
