Ninjas in Pyjamas esports director Erik Wendel commented on the rumour about Team Liquid's interest in the Swedish organisation's CS2 sniper, Artyom "r1nkle" Moroz. In an interview with Dust2.se, he stated that the club has no plans to part with the player.
"[r1nkle] doesn't want to leave. He loves his team, and of course, we want to keep him," Wendel said. Later, Moroz himself expressed his satisfaction with his current club.
"Regarding the team and the results, I can say that I am very happy to be where I am now and am looking forward to the start of the new season."
Journalist Richard Lewis previously reported that Team Liquid might buy out r1nkle's contract. He cited a source familiar with the situation but advised readers to take this information with a grain of scepticism.
