Vladimir "shady" Karelin, a member of Virtus.pro's youth squad, will be playing for AMKAL at the upcoming Skyesports Masters 2024 championship in India, set to take place next week.
Karelin will be stepping in for Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov, who recently transferred to Cloud9. "Standing in for one tournament, but who knows..." reads the official announcement from AMKAL, published on the organisation's Telegram channel.
Karelin has been with VP.Prodigy since June of last year. The 21-year-old Russian cyber athlete has an average rating of 1.10.
The Skyesports Masters 2024 will be held from 23 to 28 July in Mumbai, India, at the Taj Lands End venue. The championship's prize pool is $300,000. The full list of event participants is available in our article.
