PARIVISION disqualified from RMR due to F_1N

The tournament operator Perfect World has announced the disqualification of the team PARIVISION from the European RMR tournament for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

The organisers explained their decision by stating that during the match against GamerLegion in the closed qualifiers, PARIVISION's coach, Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov, was present in the same room with the team. Kochugov is banned from participating in Valve majors due to a ban for using the coach bug. According to HLTV sources, Kochugov was mistakenly registered as PARIVISION's coach by Perfect World.

Additionally, other staff members of the organisation (such as a camera operator filming the match) were present in the same room with the players, which is prohibited by the major's regulations. Evidence of the violation was posted on social media by PARIVISION representatives, disguised as the player's emotions after their victory.

The vacant slot in the European RMR tournament will be contested by three teams that finished the closed qualifiers with a 2-3 record: BLEED, Monte, and KOI. The dates for these matches will be announced later.

It is worth noting that the RMR tournaments for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will take place in November in China, with the major starting on the 30th of that month. The prize pool for the championship will be $1.25 million.
