OverDrive: “Why all the hype around the operation in CS2? Who cares when they release it"

Counter-Strike 2 insider and Team Spirit esports organisation employee Alexey OverDrive Biryukov shared his thoughts on the rumours about a new operation in the shooter. OverDrive's post was published on his personal Telegram page.

"What's all the hype about the operation? What difference does it make when they release it—today [June 21] or in a week?"

There has been no official announcement of a new operation for CS2; the first information about a possible event emerged at the end of 2023. On June 16, insiders reported that Valve is working on a new case, which was linked to the upcoming operation. On the night of June 21, only a small patch was released for the shooter.
