OverDrive: Team Vitality has been looking for a replacement for mezii for a long time

Russian insider Alexey OverDrive Biryukov has claimed that Team Vitality is looking to replace William "mezii" Merriman in their CS2 roster. Biryukov shared this information on Telegram. There has been no official confirmation regarding potential roster changes from the French club.

"It's true that Vitality has been searching for a replacement for Mezii for a while. They have even approached CIS organisations," Biryukov stated.

Mezii joined Team Vitality in November 2023. During his time with the team, they secured victories at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, BLAST Premier: World Final 2023, and IEM Cologne 2024. In June, Vitality's captain, Dan "apEX" Madeskler, expressed his support for Merriman, saying, "I have always believed in him."
