OverDrive: Team Falcons will rebuild roster around NiKo

Team Falcons is set to undergo a major roster overhaul for CS2, with a new lineup being built around Nikola "NiKo" Kovač. Insider Alexey OverDrive Biryukov shared this information, as reported by the CS2 NEWS Telegram channel.

"Team Falcons will lose three out of four players, and a new roster will be built around NiKo."

There had previously been rumours about NiKo potentially moving from G2 Esports to Falcons, with speculation about a possible acquisition of NiKo along with Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov. However, that deal did not materialise.

In August, insiders revealed that NiKo had indeed agreed to join the Falcons, but the transfer was postponed. It is now expected that Kovač will join the new team in 2025. The organisation is reportedly set to pay G2 $1-2 million and offer Kovač $100,000 per month for a three-year contract.

The exact players leaving Team Falcons due to the roster changes have not been confirmed, but Emil "Magisk" Reif is expected to retain his place. No official comments have been made by either party.

The current roster of Team Falcons includes:

- Emil "Magisk" Reif

- Nikola "NiKo" Kovač

- Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer

- Pavle "maden" Bošković

- Álvaro "SunPayus" García

- Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen

- Danny "zonic" Sørensen
