Uzbek player Boris "Ryujin" Kim was removed from the 1W Team roster for CS2 before their match against TSM in the qualifiers for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. This was reported by insider Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov on Telegram.

Kirill "cronus" Savin replaced Ryujin in the decisive qualifier match. The losing team will be eliminated from the championship, while the winner will continue the fight for a slot at the RMR tournament.

The European qualifiers for the RMR leading to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 are taking place online from 21st to 23rd August. The top eight teams from each qualifier will advance to the RMR tournaments.
