Over 8,500 teams registered for RMR Chinese Open Qualifiers

Over 8,500 teams have registered for the open qualifiers for the RMR tournaments leading up to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, according to local commentator Seraph on X.

In the Chinese open qualifiers, five slots will be contested for the closed stage. Only one team from the qualifiers will advance to the RMR tournament for the Asia-Pacific region, which will take place from 11th to 14th November in Shanghai. The second Chinese team at the major will be Lynn Vision Gaming, which has received an invitation.

The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will run from 30th November to 15th December. Before the major, RMR tournaments in three regions will determine all 24 participants for the major. Fourteen teams will represent Europe, seven will come from the Americas, and three will be from Asia and Oceania.
