The German esports club BIG has strengthened its coaching staff with the appointment of Tobias "tow b" Herberhold as the performance coach. The organisation officially announced this on social media.
Tow b will work alongside head coach Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk, assistant coach Dustin "DuDe" Großmann, and analyst Lukas "sAu" Baumann.
Herberhold led BIG's Counter-Strike team from 2019 to 2021, and before that, he worked with Sprout and ALTERNATE aTTaX. The 40-year-old German esports veteran had been inactive for the past three and a half years.
In May 2024, BIG removed Fatih "gob b" Dayik from the position of head coach. He was replaced by Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk, who previously served as an analyst. The club also recently replaced David "prosus" Hesse. Currently, BIG is ranked 20th in the world according to HLTV.
