G2's player Nikola "NiKo" Kovač will temporarily take on the role of team captain in the absence of Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen. NiKo will serve as the in-game leader at IEM Dallas 2024. The Bosnian player confirmed this in a comment to ESL.
HooXi will miss the championship in Dallas due to personal reasons, as he will attend his sister's wedding. American esports athlete Jake "Stewie2K" Yip will substitute for him in the tournament.
IEM Dallas 2024 will occur from May 27 to June 2 in Dallas, USA. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $250,000 and an invite to IEM Cologne 2024.
