New ESC roster, kuben leaves ENCE, coach change at Monte and VP
Over the past week, several notable roster changes have occurred across the professional CS2 scene. The portal CSGO.com, as usual on Wednesday, compiled the major updates. Noteworthy developments include ESC’s return to the pro scene with a new European roster and coaching staff changes at ENCE, Monte, and Virtus.pro.
- WolfY and cxzi leave Party Astronauts
The American team lost two key players, WolfY and cxzi, who cited disagreements with the team's direction as the reason for their departures. Additionally, Party Astronauts' coach also stepped down, and no replacements have been announced yet.
- ESC unveils a new roster with AMANEK
The German organisation has returned to the pro scene with a European mix team, headlined by the experienced AMANEK. The new lineup consists of AMANEK, lunAtic, Svedjehed, KalubeR, and DEPRESHN, who are currently training together in Germany.
- Former PERA roster disbands
The team, which had been playing under the Qiang tag, disbanded following an unsuccessful RMR qualifier run. Captain Aaron explained that the team lost its chemistry and drive during the off-season.
- Chawzyyy leaves Johnny Speeds
Swedish player chawzyyy announced his departure from Johnny Speeds, leaving the team with only four players. He is now searching for a new team where he can take on both sniper and captain roles.
- NickelBack becomes a free agent
AMKAL has parted ways with NickelBack by mutual agreement. The former captain, who had been benched since April and played as a stand-in for FORZE, is now a free agent.
- Hardstyle forms a new team
Turkish Counter-Strike legend hardstyle has put together a new roster under Fire Flux, featuring paz, ScrunK, Banjo, S3NSEY, and soulfly.
- Elevate disbands its roster
On 31 August, Elevate announced the dissolution of its roster, which included snav, dare, shane, Peeping, and dea. However, the organisation plans to remain in the CS2 scene, with a new lineup to be announced soon.
- Kuben dismissed as ENCE coach
Following disappointing results, including the failure to qualify for the RMR, ENCE has parted ways with kuben, the head coach. While still under contract, kuben has been placed on inactive status.
- Peppzor and Golden benched by EYEBALLERS
EYEBALLERS made two changes, benching Peppzor and Golden. The Swedish team is now testing candidates for their replacements.
- Monte promotes nawrot to head coach
Monte has replaced head coach lmbt with nawrot, who was initially brought in as an assistant coach just two months ago.
- PASHANOJ replaces XomA as Virtus.pro coach
Virtus.pro made a surprise coaching change, replacing XomA, who joined the team in June, with PASHANOJ, who had been working as an analyst in the coaching staff.
