The 20-year-old New Zealand eSports player, Corey "nettik" Brown, has departed from the Counter-Strike 2 team Rooster. This announcement was made officially by the Australian organisation on social media.
Brown had played for Rooster since October 2022; before this, he also represented the club in 2020 and 2021. Rooster has yet to announce the player who will fill the vacant spot on their roster. It is also unknown which team nettik will continue his career with.
Rooster achieved a top-6 finish at the ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 in Australia and secured the last place at IEM Katowice 2024. The team earned a slot in the ESL Pro League Season 20 by finishing second in the ESL Challenger League Season 47 Oceania.
Rooster's roster is ranked 56th in the world according to the HLTV rankings. Nettik's average rating over the past three months is 1.43.
