NAVI players explain elimination from BLAST Premier World Final 2024

The NAVI players shared their reactions on social media platform X following their disappointing performance at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 in Singapore, where the team, for the first time in several months, failed to make the finals of a major LAN tournament in Counter-Strike 2.

Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi admitted that the team had not been adequately prepared for the event. "Unfortunately, we were not ready for this tournament," he wrote. "It’s very sad that we didn’t even get to play on stage! We’ll come back stronger, as always! Thanks to everyone for the support!"

Justinas "jL" Lekavicius mentioned the issues with jet lag. "A disappointing end to the tournament. I really wanted to play in front of the Asian crowd, but we didn’t deserve it this time. We need to improve our game and how we handle jet lag in Shanghai. You could see from our faces that we weren’t prepared. We’ll come back stronger at the Major."

Mihai "iM" Ivan expressed that the focus would now shift to Major preparations. "A poor performance overall, both as a team and individually, since we were knocked out. We’re not satisfied at all, but we need to concentrate on our next bootcamp and the Major. Thank you for your support!"

Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen simply summed up NAVI's performance as a disaster. "A catastrophe of a tournament. We need to get better. See you."

The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 is being held from 30 October to 3 November in Singapore, with a prize pool of one million US dollars shared among the eight participating teams.
