Team Liquid CS2 member Keith "NAF" Markovic shared his team's goals for ESL Pro League Season 19. According to the esports athlete, the roster aims to finish the championship among the top six. Markovic provided comments for Esports.net.
"I said that we need to at least make it to the playoffs. My personal goal... I'm not sure; maybe my teammates feel the same way, but I would, at least, say that making it to the top six would be very good for us. Top eight, of course, wouldn't be bad either.
I think we need to aim for the top six or top four — somewhere in that range. It's very important for our expectations, and our results, considering the number of losses we've had to face.
It's also very important in terms of points. With the changes we made to the team, we lost all our points with Liquid. As many may have noticed, it's hard for us to regain points. When it comes to the points system and ESL tournaments, it's very important. The higher the placement, the better it is for us in terms of invites — just to take the pressure off our shoulders."
ESL Pro League Season 19 is taking place from April 23 to May 12 in Malta. Teams are competing for a prize pool of $750,000 and a slot at IEM Cologne 2024.
