N0rb3r7: “electroNic and Jame have slightly different visions, but we are trying to come to a common denominator”

Virtus.pro player David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan commented on the victory over Team Falcons at BetBoom Dacha CS2 Belgrade 2024. In a post-match interview, he also mentioned that the team has not yet fully integrated the ideas of Denis "electroNic" Sharipov and Jame "Jame" Ali.

"In general, we've had plenty of days to fix things. We talked about how we need to play. Of course, Dan [electroNic] and Jame have slightly different visions, but we're trying to find a common ground through communication for now because we don't have time for practice. We're just communicating, letting everyone express their ideas, and so on."

Danielyan noted that Virtus.pro was prepared to play Vertigo but made some mistakes that led to a comeback.

"We now understand that most teams will pick Vertigo against us. They think it's our weak map, but we try to bring our A-game there. We can lose to Complexity 2:13 or win without a chance... We understood how they play, but we lost key duels and gave away the economy. We equalized the score, took the lead, and then gave away the force buy again, but Fame clutched it. After the clutch, we had to win the crucial round and push, but we gave it away until 12:9. We don't give up. Dupreeh made a mistake at 12:9 — that's why we made a comeback."

N0rb3r7 also jokingly commented on the upcoming series against MOUZ.

"[Question: What will help you win tomorrow?] I don't know... Divine intervention, probably (laughs). They won ESL Pro League S19 the day before yesterday and flew here yesterday... We can't underestimate them; they're in good form anyway, showing good results. It will be interesting to play against them: in this lineup, we haven't played them — with Brollan and Siyuhi, just practice, probably. I think it will be interesting tomorrow."

Virtus.pro kicked off their performance at BetBoom Dacha CS2 Belgrade 2024 with a 2-0 victory over Team Falcons. In the next round, n0rb3r7's team will face MOUZ for a spot in the playoffs.
