Ukrainian esports club Monte has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Vladimir "Woro2k" Veletnyuk has departed the team as a free agent. The announcement was made on their social media platform X.
Woro2k represented Monte for the past two years, since July 2022, and previously played for MAD Lions. There is currently no news regarding his plans. Woro2k served as both the captain and sniper for Monte.
According to insider Vladislav "harumi" Radvilovich, Polish player Olek "hades" Miskiewicz, currently benched at ENCE, may join Monte as their new member. Harumi also mentioned that Woro2k will remain with the team in a rifler role.
Monte finished in last place at IEM Dallas 2024 and did not qualify for the upcoming LAN tournaments ESL Pro League Season 20, Skyesports Championship 2024, and BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024. The team currently holds the 31st place in the HLTV rankings.
